Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Raya platform (meetraya.io) operated by Raya Partners, Inc. ("Raya", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the platform.

2. Description of Service

Raya is a donation and donor management platform that enables non-profit organizations to accept online donations, manage donor relationships, and run fundraising campaigns. The platform provides:

Online donation processing (one-time and recurring)
Donor relationship management (CRM)
Fundraising campaign tools
Email communications and receipts
Analytics and reporting

3. User Accounts

Non-profit organizations must create an account to use Raya. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.

4. Donations and Payments

All payment processing is handled by Stripe, a PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment processor.
Donations are deposited directly into the non-profit organization's connected Stripe account.
Raya charges a configurable platform fee on each donation to sustain platform operations, which may vary by organization, account, or plan.
Donors may optionally add a tip intended to cover some or all of the applicable platform fee, so that, where sufficient, 100% of their donation amount reaches the non-profit.
Refunds are subject to the policies of the receiving non-profit organization and Stripe's refund policies.

5. Non-Profit Obligations

Organizations using Raya agree to:

Maintain valid 501(c)(3) status or equivalent tax-exempt status
Use donated funds in accordance with their stated mission
Provide accurate organization information on their donation pages
Comply with all applicable laws regarding charitable solicitation
Issue appropriate tax receipts to donors as required by law

6. Donor Rights

As a donor on the Raya platform, you have the right to:

Receive a receipt for every donation
Cancel recurring donations at any time
Request information about how your donation is used
Have your personal information handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy

7. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the platform to:

Conduct fraudulent or deceptive fundraising activities
Misrepresent your organization or its purpose
Process payments for non-charitable purposes
Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Interfere with or disrupt the platform's operation

8. Intellectual Property

The Raya platform, including its design, features, and content, is the property of Raya Partners, Inc. and is protected by intellectual property laws. Non-profit organizations retain ownership of their own content, donor data, and branding uploaded to the platform.

9. Limitation of Liability

Raya Partners, Inc. provides the platform "as is" and makes no warranties regarding uninterrupted service or error-free operation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Raya Partners, Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Organizations may close their accounts at any time. Upon termination, we will provide reasonable time to export donor data. Existing recurring donations will be honored until cancelled by the donor.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation or, if necessary, binding arbitration.
